Matakelle estate is situated in the heart of the Dimbulla region, within the Nuwara Eliya district. The estate was originally owned by a Mr. William Smith and established in the year 1865. The estate is situated on an around 1372m (4500ft) above sea level. The total extent of tea is 241.08 hectares. The Mattakelle Broken Orange Pekoe we bring to you is a rich coppery red cup with a clean and fresh flavour.
